SAPPHIRE-22 is an intelligent pressure sensor that is designed for use in the nuclear industry. Unlike the old model, it has new functionality, while the main data parameters (name, model codes, measurement limits) remain the same. The SAPPHIRE-22 pressure sensors are necessary to convert the pressure of liquid and gaseous media into a unified output current and/or digital signal, the sensor can work, including with aggressive media. All pressure converters of this series are distinguished by a universal spectrum of output current signals: 4...20 (20...4) mA according to 2- and 4-wire connection schemes or 0...5 (5...0) mA according to a 4-wire connection scheme, simultaneously with a digital signal under the HART protocol. During the production of the SAPPHIRE-22, it is possible to select the output signal at the factory (at the additional request of the customer) or immediately before operation. This makes the device versatile and convenient to use: at any time there is the possibility of quickly switching to another type of output signal, as well as changing the connection scheme.
